The wrecks - my other hobby

I really dont know why but I always find a classic rusting away, take for example this mint example of a Montego in sunny Furteventura:

Also on the same island is this prime example of an early VW camper van, probably a good advert for not smoking in bed:

I could not resist this one which was hiding in the bushes somewhere on the north coast of Scotland:

Here's an old Cav which we just found in a ditch, ignore the tool box, we didn't strip it - Honestly !!

Someone put this old metro out of its misery with a petrol bomb, poor thing :-)

I just found this tank in a field (not a live target range), note the large hole after it took a direct hit....

Cyprus was the source for the next 7 wrecks, this beauty was hiding near Paphos airport

There is something about rusting Beetles, I found 3 in cyprus and they were all excellent examples:

Blue skies and rusty bugs, what a day !

Well hidden in a field, had to lookout for snakes in the grass as I took this:

Every year the hire car gets worse, when will Avis buy a new fleet ?

This is how the local goat farmers park !

Another hidden van cleverly disguised as a hedge

Back to blighty for this wreck, on SS5 Resolven1 at the 2003 WRC

Just happened to find myself in the destroyed cockpit of a downed T33 jet fighter !!
